From 2012 FEDORA has officially merged with the European Association for International Education (EAIE).

The FEDORA working groups have merged with relevant groups within the EAIE:

• Psyche has been established as a Professional Section.
• The Career Guidance & Employment Group has merged with the Professional Section EMPLOI.
  
• The Educational Guidance & Counselling Group has merged with the Professional Section SAFSA.
• Inclusion / Equal Opportunities has merged with the Special Interest Group ACCESS.

The dissolution of FEDORA as organisation will take place in the near future.
